Nach dem Abstieg in die 2. Liga Ende letzter Saison, hat sich bei den Herren 1 einiges getan. Neun Spieler haben den Club verlassen, zum Teil haben sie sich eine andere Herausforderung gesucht, zum Teil haben sie sich für eine Pause entschieden. Weiter stehen mit Martin Zimmermann und Urs Bischofberger ebenfalls zwei neue Trainer an der Bande der Sharks.

Das Herrenteam der Sharks steht nun vor einer neuen Saison und einem Neubeginn. Es gilt aus bewährten Kräften und jungen, motivierten Spielern eine Mannschaft aufzubauen, welche den Anforderungen der 2. Liga gewachsen ist. Wo die Mannschaft steht, wird man erst nach den ersten Meisterschaftsrunden sehen. Wichtig ist nun, eine langfristige Planung ins Auge zu fassen und sich mit realistischen Zielen auseinanderzusetzen.

Aufgrund der vielen Veränderungen im Team wird es für die Sharks sicherlich eine heraufordernde Saison geben. Nichtsdestotrotz gehen die Herren optimistisch ins erste Spiel gegen den UHC Herisau, mit dem Bewusstsein, dass es weder an der Motivation noch am Können mangeln wird.
