Herren 1 - Rangers Grabs-Werdenberg 8:3

Zwei Drittel lang verlief das Spiel gegen den 3.-Ligisten resultatmässig relativ ausgeglichen. Im letzten Abschnitt, welches die Sharks mit 4:1 für sich entschieden, zahlte sich dann die Geduld aus. Acht verschiedene Torschützen trugen sich in die Statistik ein. In den letzten Minuten spielte man sich zudem genügend Torchancen heraus, um das Resultat noch höher ausfallen zu lassen.

Herren 2 - Flying Penguins Niederweil 14:13

Als grosse Cupüberraschung kann der Sieg des 5. Liga-Teams gegen den Zweitligisten aus Niederwil betrachtet werden. Von einer 6:3-Führung nach dem ersten Drittel zehrten die Sharks bis kurz vor Schluss. Als nach dem Ausgleich zum 13:13 plötzlich wieder alles für den Favoriten sprach, konnten die Nesslauer mit letzter Kraft noch den entscheidenden Treffer markieren.
