Im letzten Spiel des Jahres verloren die Sharks zu Hause gegen Thurgau mit 4:5.

Die ersten 20 Minuten spielte eigentlich nur eine Mannschaft und das waren die Gastgeber. Nach acht Minuten lagen die Sharks mit 3:0 in Front. Und sie kontrollierten das Geschehen. Mit einem ruhigen und überlegten Spielaufbau waren sie mehrheitlich im Ballbesitz und gewährten so den Thurgauern kaum Chancen. Ihrerseits zeigten sich die Nesslauer äusserst effizient.

Im zweiten Drittel hatte Nesslau etwas Mühe mit der neuen Taktik der Gäste. Und schon in der zweiten Minute gelang Thurgau der Anschlusstreffer. Kurz nach Spielhälfte war das Score dann ausgeglichen.

Einmal mehr wird ein Spiel im letzten Drittel erst entschieden. Und wiederum waren es die Gäste, welche diesmal von einem Fehler in der Nesslauer Defensive profitieren konnten und zum ersten mal in Führung gingen. Diese Führung konnten sie in der 52. Minute gar auf zwei Tore ausbauen. Nach einem Timeout seitens der Sharks bäumten sich diese nochmals auf und kamen auf ein Goal wieder heran. In der turbulenten Schlussphase wollte der Ausgleich nicht mehr fallen.
